Glenealy School is one of 21 schools run by the English Schools Foundation (ESF). The ESF was founded by Ordinance in 1967 to provide a ‘modern liberal education’ through the medium of English.Glenealy provides an opportunity for children to flourish in a caring, friendly and supportive environment, where everyone is encouraged to achieve and to do their best in all aspects of school life. Glenealy embraces the diversity of cultures within the school community by offering a wide range of perspectives, and promoting tolerance and respect for each other.Using the IBO PYP programme to frame the curriculum, all children at Glenealy learn through an “inquiry-based” approach, where they are encouraged to explore concepts and ideas by posing questions, investigating and researching, seeking answers and taking relevant action to bring meaning to their learning.
