K-State Great Value

Coming from OOS this college is a hidden jewel. The education is top notch, even for high achieving high school students. Don't let the high acceptance rate fool you. The professors are some of the happiest and most helpful we have seen. The students all seem to be happy and enjoy it there. It is a big university with the feel of a much smaller college. It is compact and easy to get from one end of the campus to the other. Social life is great whether you choose to be Greek, in the numerous other clubs, or just with friends. Manhattan is a great little college town and large cities are only a couple of hours away. The Honors college is very good and the college of agriculture is outstanding. The early admission to vet school program is wonderful!

If you want a university experience without feeling like a number, this is your school. Yes, some lower level classes are large, but the professors are accessible and helpful. K-State wants its students and alum to succeed. You will have contacts at the university for years who will remember you and support you. Classes are taught by top-notch professors who are experts in their field. The College of Agriculture is brimming with award-winning faculty and advisors. K-State will be the best choice you ever made!
