Fantastic school
By Class of 2018 Graduate, From California
I did the majority of my undergrad (3 out of 4 years) at MCU. The absolute best part of this school is that it's so small. Since class sizes are small, you can work directly with the professors. There were a few classes I struggled with and I was able to work with the professor to get back on track. There is also a career and internship center. They can help get you in with great companies. Once again since the school is so small, the adviser's in the career and internship center work with you to find you an internship you want. Since the school is located in the southern part of Los Angeles County there are some great internship opportunities. I would recommend MCU to anyone. Like so many other things, you get what you put into it. Make sure to take full advantage of the resources they offer.

School sucks
By F.Y., From California
Some teachers care about you and are very understanding while others are never on campus and offer no office hours to work with their students. Nice having small classes but because the school has so little students they try to force you to join in on the activities, especially with MCU, which is a pointless class that teaches you nothing. School offers only a small amount of degrees to choose from. Instead of applying for housing you have to apply OUT of housing which is already included in your total pay for the semester. Housing closes over winter break. The health and wellness center will not accept private insurances due to the deductable being "too high" and forces you to get the schools insurance which may seem cheaper but when you have to go into the gynecologist every two weeks do to problems with your ovaries and uterus, instead of paying a $15 copay with your private insurance each time, you're left paying $85 every time.
