Sri Kuala Lumpur School would like to think of itself as ‘The Malaysian School In English’?. The medium of instruction is predominantly English but the values are firmly Malaysian along with its culture and its food. That makes the school a different sort of international school where the majority of students are Malaysian, along with the teachers and administrators. At the same time, SRIKL is the school of choice for many expatriates who wish to embrace Malaysian culture and gain a deeper knowledge of the national language. And all are welcome.The philosophy has always been to provide a well-rounded and complete education for all students, emphasizing strong community values and discipline whilst at the same time encouraging students to excel academically. The school is also believer in the old adage that healthy bodies make healthy minds and its commitment to sporting and co-curricular activities reflects this belief.
